Most Brutal Horror Anime Ever (Probably). Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni

Higurashi no naku koro ni AKA when they cry is undoubtedly one of the best horror anime shows out there. Usually when we find some dark anime with gore scenes in it we put a label of horror anime on it. But, Higurashi stands apart from those gore animes. It has amazing story building, one hell of a quality background music that starts approximately after 10/12 episode on a regular basis. 
If you are a fan of gore anime, movies you will love it. And why is that?

1) Plot:

Higurashi is built on a really well developed plot. Though it might not be an unique plot, but it is well polished. As, the reviewer is not gonna spoil anything to you, he can discuss it in detail. though the 1st season is rather quite messed up in different arcs. The 1st season creates a lots of questions to be answered, while they cleared them all up in the 2nd season of Higurashi no Nakukoro ni that is called Higurashi no Naku koro ni Kai.

2) Storytelling:

At the beginning of the show you'd ask a lot of question. Question about different character and question about the main culprit behind all the chaos out there. And certainly you'll ask what's going on? Trust. e, you are not the only one. We all went through the same questions. To be honest, they don't make things clear in the end of the first season. But, in the next season, they start to except laining things to the viewers and BANG!! You'll be amazed, how well written the story is! Everything- every little clue-scene was meaningful on the first season which didn't  make any sense first.

 so, you might want to re watch the first season after finishing the 2nd one.

3) Character Customization:

Well, a good adaptation depends mostly on character customization and character development. It makes the viewers feel the surroundings that the show wants to create. Higurashi no naku koro ni worked excellent on this part. We must admit, the way, they played each and every character's dark side, it really uppers the show's standard as a mystery genre anime.

4) Animation:

A show depends a lot on the animation works. An average story with a decent animation, certainly got more popular than the usual. Sword art online could be an example in this case. However, Higurashi couldn't  do quite well in the animation section. In the whole show, you'll find an average animation quality. At some point, you'll  notice some poor animation  work too. But, it gets better when the time needs it to be.

5) Artwork:

Artwork plays a vital role Although we hardly notice it separately from the animation work. Actually, artwork is the style of the animation that is done in the show.
The artwork of Higurashi is quite decent to watch. You'll find it quite  soothing while watching. The background scenery and the side characters are visualized quite well.

6) MUSIC:

Background music or ost plays a huge role creating a suitable environment for the mystery, horror shows out there. Well, Higurashi has done an outstanding job there. He who once listens to this the "Main them" of this show, while watching the show, shall never forget it. It literally is a masterpiece.
You'll feel a bit creepy, while listening to the ost. But, you'll definitely love it, I assure you.
The soundtrack effects the show, different times and drives the viewers to the deep core.

8) Enjoyment:

This part is totally belongs to the article writer. He gives a mark out of 10 based on his personal satisfaction.
Personally, as a mystery-genre-show lover, I really enjoyed the show.A well polished plot, amazing storytelling makes it wonderful.
Anyone who watches the psychological thriller, would love to watch the show. Solid character customization and development and astonishing music makes ir really enjoyable.
So, I'll give it 8.5 out of 10.

7) Dialogues:

Besides all the other things, dialogues and quotes make a show rich. You'll find some high quality quotes in every good shows out there.
Though Higurashi doesn't have some fabulous quotes, that will buzz around the social media. But, it does have a soothing conversation among the characters, which will maje you feel good and relaxed.
However, the dub of the first season is pretty poor. So, we will suggest you sub, instead.

9) Ending:

The ending of any show, novel or stroy is pretty damn important. It effects the whole show or the story directly.

As Higurashi 2nd season as well and the 1st season only introduce us to the main story line and works on character development, we will count the ending of the 2nd season in this aspect. 
Higurashi no naku kori ni kai (2nd season)  ends clearing everything happened in this 2 season. Every detail they gave you had a particular meaning, that you'll understand at the end. So, we may say, they did, a pretty good job in the ending.

10) MAL:

As, we all know, MAL stands for My Anime List- which is considered as the 'Imdb' for anime world. It ranks amd gives review of each and every single anime and anime movies out there. We count their rating in our reviews as well.
Well, Higurashi no naku koro ni 1st season is given 8.12 rating and as for the 2nd season it's 8.37.
